My advice would be practice different things. Know you can do something, don't just think you can. Start small then large. there is some reason.

Try skateboarding at 100 kph. I do it all the time in my non lucid dreams.

I skate quite often in my dreams too, its fun, never done it in a LD though as theyve never lasted long enough or I always do something else like fly. Have you tried skating but with no board in your dreams? in a non lucid one once i was bombing it done a hill just on my feet, facing forwards like sliding on a skateboard, going so fast! I went into a tree and knocked it over! didnt hurt myself though

GestaltAlteration Ive got some advice for you then, at least with the flying thing. You sorta have to unfocus and think your floating. If you belive there is gravity you wont fly but if you forget that its there you will. I do the same thing with time too. Yhea i love my icon

Actually, I was able to fly into space and out of our universe. I dreampt that I was being abducted by aliens and I started to float up. I desided to go with it and just took off. I was really scared and I thought I would fall, but I just focused and away I went.

Anyway I always try to think of what other people might dream... it is fun for me and it never gets old.

Heh no I can't say I've ever skated with an invisible board before, but quite often I'll be manualing for blocks and blocks by leaning a certain way, then I wake up in the morning thinking I've found out the holy grail, and I'll try it and almost fall on my ass. Go me!

Flying could help you with dream control, if you tried some hard flying acrobatics or something...it depends on if you know how to or not though...

oh and to everyone else. How exactly do you learn to fly faster, I just tend to float upward.
