I think Daniel has said this already?

Don't expect you will have the same amount of lucidity or the best lucidity than you had last year. It's never always going to be the same. Even for those who have been doing this for a while. I once had more than 8 dreams with 4 lucids but, things change a little and now I only have 1 to 5 with 2 to 3 lucid some nights. To be honest, I don't let it bother me that much. Things change.
For those people that say that DJing is boring; Well, that's great about dreaming stuff, it's not a one size fits all situation. I rarely really follow what everyone else is doing here.
I like writing them down, though and I write all my dreams that I remember down, (Entry per night- Lucid or not) Not just on here, because for me: it has helped with flushing the bothersome dreams and nightmares faster. Or keep track of what was going on what I did before I went to bed. You can always make it fun, find a rhythm in a way of doing things.
I notice that people compare themselves with other dreamers, don't do that because:
A.)You are setting yourself up for failure. (Especially if there are people who have been doing this for a while.
What works for me, may not work for you.
      B. There is no magic pill of lucid dreaming. I know that may look as though it is easy for someone, doesn't mean that they did have their life issues. It also doesn't mean that they didn't go through trial and error with dream control.
They find something that works for them.
We are all just one small adjustment away from making our lives work. Sorry, I thought I would post.

Today, In one dream, I got a visit from Dr. Heith Herrne as a DC. Nothing screams you are dreaming in the dream, I know. I was lazier to even try to find out. I WAS one of those more private dreams though. His image and his voice from the Danial's video probably cause me to have a dream about him. I had a lucid but, it wasn't that one sadly. I had 8 dreams and 1 lucid, last night. Sometimes, my number of dreams may go up but, I would have fewer lucid dreams. That was simply because I wasn't feeling too well to practice it, last night. Mostly laziness.

Very cool! Daniel talked about dream "food" yesterday and recently about day seeds or residue.

He did also post Experience a Lucid Dream! - Oneirophone No.1 (DAYTIME) and NIGHTTIME, video. If you haven't viewed the other videos first, do so. With everything, it will take time to get use too. Again, there is no magic pill for lucid dream, it takes work.
When I find that when I watch or do anything, it almost always show up in my dream. That's it can be helpful to write down what you did that in your DJ.

I like the The Powerful 'Journey Technique'.

Sorry for the double posting on this thread.
What do you think of the HOOF? (Heat observation Of Foot Lucid Dream Technique) For me, I sort of having to observe my feet because of the moment that I didn't pay attention to what I was doing today, I accidentally dropped a heavy object on my foot... Right now, I feel pain, cold, and swelling.
      Would this hinder my results?

Edit: Had a lucid but, it wasn't because of the fact that I was observing the heat of my feet. I ending up biting someone in the foot and become lucid that way because I remember that I hurt my foot. *Shrugs* Better luck next time.

Interesting! I think biting someone's foot would make me lucid as well, lol! Not sure about hoof, will have to try it out.

Have you had success with journey technique or oneirophone? I still need to try them.

Well, I have been trying to do the journey technique but, it's doing okay. I try to be even more observant but, as far is it helping with lucid dreaming, I'm not sure that it is doing much at this point. I think it might be the same as what I do already but, I wanted to try it. *Shrugs* It is pretty early to tell. As for the oneirophone haven't really tried that yet.
I know that anything like that, it will take time for your subconscious to get used to it.

*Anyone reading this, please subscribe to his YouTube channel. He has been lucid dreaming for decades and researching and writing about it without ulterior motives. I would say he's like our beloved Sageous but on YouTube. Just search his channel: The Lucid Guide. If he gets enough new subscribers he will continue the livestreams longer (scheduled for this month only originally), so spread the word.

Thank you for the response Lang. Today's stream had a promising technique to try if you haven't seen it. Dream Walker something or other.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to post sooner.

Yes, however, I haven't got a chance to try that yet...
I want to though. He also has a forum for those who are interested. There are people there who can help you with your burning questions about that DREAMWALKER technique. It's a technique where you have to visualize walking back and forth to the bathroom or a room that is close to your bedroom and looking at the clock. As I said, I probably need to read to get a better understanding of it before I attempt it? This is one of those that will not work on the first try. Honestly, I know it will take more time and patience than I have right now,

Also, I had some good results with the Heat observation Of Foot Lucid Dream Technique.

      To do this Technique. :
      1) Daytime practice - build the habit of checking if your feet are the same temperature. This is essentially identical to a reality check. This one you were socks on both feet or gloves you can't do it with your feet.

      2) Nightime practice - Wear the sock on your left foot or glove during the night. This should have a subtle influence on your dream body, and then when you notice or check as will become habit due to your waking hour practice, during the dream this should cue you into lucidity.
check regularly. Trust me, I'm still getting a handle on it, myself. It's better to check whenever something dreamlike occurs during the day. Essentially just consider it another test to add to your reality checks (and you should be performing at least 10 of those a day, with other RC)

With everything though, it takes a bit of getting used to. You still have to do the practicing... It's not as easy as people may think. I recall at times I pulled the sock off my foot or I was just uncomfortable at the beginning.
I don't know about anyone else, but, I did have weird things happen in some of my lucid dream where DCs show up with lost limbs or people point at my feet?

Oh, and please STOP me if I'm getting information wrong.. Thanks!!

I really like the Dreamwalker technique. I am a DILD'er primarily and have gone through phases where I really went for WILDs and got them but this technique seemed to make it easier for me to WILD than before. Previously I used SSILD for WILD attempts (usually resulting in DILDs or sometimes in losing awareness before one of those more noticeable WILD style transitions that bring my awareness back, or using various anchors or DEILD. Come to think of it, that could be an advantage to someone expecting a crazy transition, your dreaming mind could give it to you because of your expectation and bring back your awareness. So maybe it is better to expect crazy transitions like strong vibrations, launching out of bed, or any or the other ones you hear about or have experienced.

I hadn't heard of it but I just looked it up. I didn't find it until I put quotes around the technique name and found it on Daniel Love's website as a guest post from someone else. It sounds interesting. At first I dismissed it as someone saying that dream characters are other external entities and you can go into their mind but then I thought about how it could be like working with the subconscious parts of yourself especially as I read further on in the article/post.

I will try to remember to attempt this right after having a vivid dream. My recall wasn't very good last night but trying it with another recent dream didn't seem to give me any astonishing insights. I'm certainly not ready to rule it out yet though. What has your experience been with it?

It reminds me of some of the shadow work I've done, getting in touch with different aspects of myself and finding why I have certain blocks in my way of thinking/acting.

This HOOF? (Heat observation Of Foot Lucid Dream Technique) From Daniel Love. I have done this before but, it is one of those things where you have to keep doing it and you have to remind yourself what you did before you went to bed (putting a sock on your foot.)

I had some lucid dreams with this.
