      Should we Lucid?

Well for those of us that know we do lucid dream. Should we want more of them? To be sure, I would never pass up a lucid dream. I only forced a WILD one time I think, during a nap in the afternoon. That one felt different, it just felt like I could have more emotion in it.

The question is not that can I lucid dream? But, should I seek to have more than I should have?

Increasing awareness is a good thing, if you're having success with that, I would feel pretty good.

Non-lucid dreams have value in that they show you areas of yourself that you can improve, which in turn can improve your life and overall happiness. If you lucid dream regularly, and spend all of your lucid dreams seeking only fun and pleasure, then yes, you're missing out on something a little deeper and more meaningful.

However, lucidity is not the problem. You can also choose to spend your lucid dreams exploring the dream and asking questions so that you can understand yourself better, or the nature of dreaming.

There's nothing wrong with having some fun, too. Most people don't lucid dream enough to have that kind of problem...
