To stabilize your dream, try looking at your hands or feet, touching something like the ground or a wall, taste something -- anything. Try to get all your senses involved in the dream world.

Glad to see you're making progress -- keep it up!

      staying

best technique i've used and have had really long lucids (45min) was the rubbing hands technique. Once your lucid keep rubbing your dream hands. It sends stimuli to the brain and keeps you grounded in your lucid.

      Alright

I had a dream Last night i was driving a really nice car (69 charger) andi was going extremly slo then some thing clicked in my mind that i was dreaming so i jus Punched it and speed down the streets and i looked out the side windo and every thing was a blurr and it just blacked out . i wasnt too exited i jus realized i was dreamin and did as i pleased. i can attain lucidity as i wish but its remembering it and keeping it longer than 10 mins, i also wen i blacked out i knew that i was awake so i jus sat there thinking about my last dream and i was re-entered in the dream but the people and i were in slightly i different locals and i was slightly less radicle with my actions then my dam alarm clock went off . so im going to try to rub my hands together tonight

About a week ago before an LD, I had what would feel like an OBE where my body was being pulled along the ground at a fast rate. It was almost too fast for my liking. It probably felt about 150-300 MPH or so.

This has been the best technique for me too. I can't say I've had many 45 minute LD's, only one that I can think of, but rubbing the hands definitely keeps me grounded longer

I always find dream spinning a method which works for me.

The second (and most recent) LD I had was the first chance i had to practice this, but I managed to stay lucid for about half an hour, with a good amount of realism.

In my (very) few lucid dreams, I tried concentrating in one thing; eg. If you see a flower make it look the best you can, smel touch, taste, etc.

How do you tell how much time goes by in a dream?
