      WILD and HIT?? Nap times!

I took a nap yesturday - I sleep a lot, and I decided to try out a WILD. or was it a HIT? Im not sure I understand the difference between the two techniques???

Im not sure I understand either technique either! Do you focus on the images or not?

I took a while for some images to float in my minds eye, and they floated away when I focused on them. And some of them were frightening and I didn't want to focus on them at all! I can still hear my fan and the birds chirping outside. Some more minutes pass and the images get more solid. Occasionally they even moved!

The images were fleeting, and then it made a sound. The image spoke. When it spoke I knew this sound was in my head, a dreamy sound. And I was no longer hearing my fan or the birds. But then I snapped out of it! I don't know why. For one I was afraid I was just falling alseep. And I seemed to snap out of it just by thinking "This sound is in my head"

I'm back to step 1 - focusing on the blackness. But it only takes a couple of seconds for images to pop up, and only a minute or two after that did I lose my hearing again and heard the images. Again I quickly snap out of it - not sure if snapping out of it was bad or good. And Im not even sure if snapping out of it was my will doing or not..!

At no point did I feel vibrations of any kind, I dont remember my body feeling strange at all!

Family came back home and were too loud and annoying to continue my WILD nap

So what do you think? Was I doing it wrong? Am I supposed to feel vibrations before I hear sounds?

You werre in the final steps of WILD. And don't worry that you didn't feel vibrations, some people just don't feel them. Keep trying.
What I hold in my two hands is enough to set me free.

one more question..is it not wise to try a WILD right before going to sleep? can you be too sleepy to concentrate?

If you're going to WILD during the night, get 5-6 hours of sleep first.

If you're going to WILD during the afternoon, then WILD away!

My experience... it's way easier to have a WILD or HIT when I nap.

My HI is incredibly vivid as I'm slipping off into a nap, makes it easier to follow it straight into a dream.

I hear nothing or feel no vibrations or any other sensations. I merely slip into a dream fully aware.

Kind of wish I could get all the other sensations. Just for the experience.

you guys are right about napping. I tried it last night as I went to bed and I just fell into a deep sleep instead - which is nice on its own seeing as how some nights it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep WILD makes me fall asleep faster..haha!

I keep wanting to try it when I take a nap - but something always disturbs me as the images get more vivid - mostly my family.........

what technique would you suggest to do as you go to sleep then? a VILD?
