      How long before 2nd LD?

I just had my first LD a few nights ago. I was just wondering how long it took for all of you experienced LD'ers to have your second. Was it just as difficult to get your second or does it get easier after the first. My first LD was so much fun that I have lost all doubt and hope that my next one will come ASAP.

It's definately easier after the first (few) LD(s). For most people anyway. After my first LD I had 3-5 each of the next weeks. Only lucid moments though, still in need of training.

It took me something like two months between by first and second LD. Haven't really been paying much attention to it lately because of my exams, though, it might be why it took so long.

It becoming frustrating now. I can barely recall any dreams. What causes you to stop recalling dreams? Here lately I can sleep for 10 to 11 hours and not remember much of anything. Only fragments.

If it is straight sleep i find it harder to recall myself.

Have you ever gotten up and put your head back down to sleep for a few more minutes? When I do this and have a dream I panic thinking I slept for another couple hours. Then I realize it has only been 15 minutes. I think becuase of the time distortion it is harder to recall a whole night becuase a whole night of dream time is like a whole week of reality. I have noticed that whenever I take a quick nap I almost always remember the dream. Maybe this is the same for you?

Took me a week after my first one. Then four days to get my third one. And that's where i am now....

      Congratulations on your first lucid.

Yeah I remember my dreams during a short day time nap. I think I need to work on the wake back to bed method a little more. I have a hard time waking up though.

Took me a while because I was young and didn't really know the meaning of this whole lucid stuff.
I recall my dreams by relaxing my whole body and mind when I wake up. I clear my head of all thoughts and question myself. "What did I just dream of?" I keep on asking myself a few times and then lie there in my bed. After a minute, everything starts coming back into my mind. Works for me all the time.

After my first, I had one 2 nights later. Then my third a week later. Since then it's been about once per week (up to 5 now.)
