Thread: A rather funny way of attaining lucidity!

Ok, I might try to fully explain what I think happened, though I may be wrong, as I am only just beggining to learn how to toy with the mind MWAHAHA.

Sorry, anyway, I suppose it is just like Reality Checks, because you are trying to engrave the idea into your mind to do a reality check.

Here is a little thing I like to call, RC vs ...whatever you call it.....

RC = Quality - High
Time - Medium
Engravedness - medium (sorry for the made up word )

What I did = Quality - Medium to High (edited after SKA's post)
Time - High
Engravedness - High

Why would the quality of your technique be lower than the quality of the RC-technique? You may think it's stupid ''fusing with yourself'' but I think it's briljant.

Your dreams, that is your domain. and thus the rules of Reality do not apply. YOUR rules apply, that is whatever you Imagine being possible Therefor IS possible.
If doing something, creating a scene or...really ANYTHING in a Lucid Dream seems impossible it is only cuz of your lack of belief in that it IS possible. EVERYTHING you can imagine IS possible. Black on white. No doubt about it.

So if you Imagine it's possible to Plant your entire DreamWorld full of, I.E. Signs that say YOU ARE DREAMING, which you would encounter everynight...well than it IS possible. And that would be really handy dandy for regaining lucidity everynight again and staying in the Lucid Mindset.
Perhaps you could symbolise a big red switch in your dreams, which you could shift up and down to increase and Decrease Lucidity. Either way some Specific Object to symbolise Lucidity inbedded in your dreams would be most Interresting.
