Just a few questions. Please answer if you know from experience.

When you WILD are you supposed to feel wide awake while in SP?

While in SP are you supposed to be aware of sounds outside your body?

While trying to WILD, at what point do you stop hearing sounds outside of your body?

When I'm in SP I can't move, but if I absolutly want to I can. It feels more like I don't have the will to or sometimes I can't feel my body, but usually just very numb and stuck to the bed. Is this the way SP works when trying to WILD?

A few nights ago I caught myself "swinging" my arms while trying to WILD. After I realized it, it stopped. At that point I tryed to move them, even though I could still feel my real arms. I tried to concentrate really hard to move my arms and I felt like I was moving them even though I felt my real arms on the bed. Was I in the dream and all I needed to do was to open my eyes or do I need to concentrate more until I can see and walk?

Thanks to whoever can answer them!

P.S. Sorry for all the questions. Still haven't been adopted.

      Yes

      In my experience, yes

When your body falls asleep - after about half an hour for me

No, if you can move at all, it's not sleep paralysis. Although you do go numb, but that is one of the first things to happen, sleep paralysis happens just before your body falls asleep. The "stuck to the bed" thing is normal too, but again, it is one of the first things to happen.

Sounds like you needed to leave it a bit longer, until you could see.

Thanks for the reply badassbob, I think this will help me alot.

EDIT: If you can answer one more question I would appreciate it.

Sometimes when I get later in the WILD I start to see things very vividly (last night saw a computer screen. Perfect text and everything). When I start to imagine things random images and senerios will start to unfold. When this happens I sometimes get sucked in the dream for a few seconds (start looking for someone or something), but right when I realize it, it stops. I try to enter it after I imagine it, because I can't seem to get in with my mind making random things for me to do. How would I go about entering the dream?

It's very important not to concentrate too much on the images, as this could wake you up. You need to try and keep a sort of "passive" mind, just let the images appear without paying too much attention to them. "Stepping into the dream" is different for everyone. Often, when you leave it long enough you will automatically slip into one of the scenes that your mind has created as you go through the transition phase. Or you may have to visualise yourself in the dream, and really will it to happen. With this you will need to experiment, and remember not to get too excited by the images you see, or you could wake up. And if you fail, remember to do an RC, because you may be in the dream, but think that you have simply failed the WILD, and have woken back up in your bed. Sometimes the images abruptly stop. in which case all you may need to do is open your eyes and do an RC, as you may actually be dreaming, and your eyes were closed within the dream.
