wild problem, cant go all the way

sorry if this has been asked already but i couldnt find what im wondering exactly. I was trying to do a wild and i felt the vibrations and stuff go through my body, but had no imagery whatsoever, and after a mintue or so it went away and nothing came of it. This has happened twice. Any way i can get farther than this? Also say once you see the dreamscape and stuff, how do you jump into it?

did u fall asleep after or did u remain awake?

if u fell asleep. take some caffeine before u try a wild. works for me.
if u stayed awake, try getting up earlier? i think it takes alot of effort and alot of patience to achieve a wild. good luck

I try visualization method, it works really well.
Just lay in a comfortable position, dont worry about your body.
Start visualizing stuff. Anything. I do places/objects. Do it for about a minute, then you will notice that your mind makes objects without your effort. (all you have to do is start the process. )
Here remain calm and just watch. If you maintain neutral attitude, your attention will become focused on the pictures.

After this you'll notice that images stay. and you can exercise limited thoughts without disrupting the effect.

      after this you can experience:

      1) experience a lucid daydream. (very limited control, but you are in a lucid inviroment!)

      2) normal daydream, but you are alert for WILD sensations. So as soon as you enter a real dream, you are ready.

      3) break concentration and fall asleep.

A lucid daydream? That sounds cool. I didn't know that counts as WILD. I need to try to do that.

that was a few months ago, ive been trying it lately, but with no success. even though after waking up after 5 hours, I'm very tired, and i focus on the imagery, i just cannot fall back to sleep when im focusing on the imagery. I just lie there for about an hour and the imagery never gets more intense than it is when you just start off. I'm paying attention to my breathing and dont have any distractions but it doesn't matter. Any advice? Also does this method of waking up and giong back to sleep tend to make you more tired the next day?

      BTW Welcome to the forums!

I guess a key would be not to want it too much. If you focus to intently without letting relaxation come, WILD will not work.

Yes, waking up a few times during the night will make you more tired. So I wouldn't recommend messing with your sleep patterns if you've got something important coming up.

Give it a few more tries. After all, time is key to lucid dreaming.

If all else fails, try MILD, or other proven techniques.
