If you look for a digital clock you will find one, especially if your dream takes place in your house. If you are dreaming you may find digital clocks at random locations. If you have to, move to another room and look for one. Look at the clock at least 2 times. Each time the clock changes you become more lucid. If it blacks out you are also dreaming.

In dreams outside large billboards that have digital letters or numbers work well - they behave chaotically and change rapidly.

Almost anywhere you may find a printed word. Focus on this word and read it over at least 3 times. If it changes in any way you are dreaming. You may wish the word to change as you reread it.

Normal watches also make a reliable RC - look at your normal watch several times. The minute hand will skip a few minutes with each glance, or something even more bizzare may happen. It takes ~5-7 glances to become lucid with normal watch. Once again wishing it to change works a bit better.

Any bodily RCs are prone to failure, especially if you believe that you are NOT dreaming - your body will work as it's supposed to be. At the same time looking at a digital clock a couple times will make you lucid regardless of your state of mind. It is amazing when you just walk through your house 100% sure you are awake, glance at the microwave digital clock and realize that you are dreaming.
