they say while alcohol is in your system it suppresses REM. this is true. So get wasted at night and just fall asleep and set your alarm for a WILD. Now when your alarm wakes you up, all the prior sleep you had had no REM, so your body will need more of it. It makes sense to me that your body will play catchup in the morning. Plus, it will be easier to fall asleep in the early morning for us light sleepers. I did this method on accident last night and it was the best experience of my LIFE!!! I had 4 LD, about 5 minutes long a piece. The only problem was i was paralyzed in my dreams!! If freaked the shit out of me every time. Please post responses if you have had similar experiences.
