Alarm clocks hurt my recall as well. Its hard for me to recall during the weekday when I'm being woken up by my alarm clock, but on weekends, when I wake myself up, my recall is dramatically increased. Thats why I don't use my alarm clock anymore. |

Eh I guess ill try both, and try to autosuggest before 4AM or whenever my alarm is set for WBTB. |

As you are falling asleep, make sure the only thought you are thinking is "I will wake up during a dream and I will remember it." If you find your mind wandering a little bit, redirect yourself and keep that thought at the front of your mind. When you wake up, just make sure your write your dream down in your journal. |

I finnd that getting into a proper routine really helps. You will almost always get up a few minutes before the alarm rings but not notice that you are up most of the time. Its "noticing your up" that takes practice. |

Before I had my first one, I didn't really know what to expect. Just have confidence and it will happen. |

You can buy alarm clocks that light up instead of make noise. Your brain can automatically wake you up based on the amount of light coming in through your eye lids. |

auto suggestion worked for me once. I just said i will wake up at 7:00 to myself till i went to sleep. made sure there wasnt any distractions or anything and i woke up within 5-10 min of 7:00 |

It's easy for me. When you're lying in bed, just look at a clock and say what time you want to wake up. Then count how many hours are from now til then. Then go to bed. It almost always works for me. |
