Okay this seemed to be helpful before, so basically to become proficient at realizing you are dreaming you should learn to ask yourself if you are dreaming 21 times a day. Here are someways to remind yourself to do it.

-Put "Are you dreaming?" in your cellphone banner.
-Homepage wallpaper/ sticky note
-Wallpaper
-Ringtones of dream related songs
-Written in school notebooks
-Written on hand

It's educational!

Thanks, good tips.
And based on the wallpaper one I made 3 dream reminding wallpapers:
Get can get them here

Example:

Another tip:
I made a small black dot on my left hand. You spot it several times per day.
Lucid dreams = stopped counting them

This is indeed good advice, 3 of my five Lucids have been because of RC's so I know this works

You could just wear a watch and make it beep every hour, also the written hand idea is quite good too.

It will be nice if other members post their dream reminding wallpapers

Though the idea of RCing a lot is great putting a number on it is plain useless. I have observed when I went on an RC streak during finals last year for a couple weeks, that quality is much more important than quantity. You must ask yourself with care and concentration (there is a guid I wrote linked through my siggy on quality RCs). Wether you do 11, or 47 is less important than if you do 11 good RCs, or 47 crappy ones where you don't put in care and concentration.

I second that, regularity of RCs is a lot better, and also if you've ever noticed, you don't actually look at your wallpaper after a while, and it's just a background unless someone goes and changes it, so that isn't a good long term approach. The idea of RCing a lot is very important, but RCing a lot isn't everything, you have to have a good RC program and mind set for maximum effects.

Knowing my dreamsigns seems to work better for me, but that's just me.
