Don't worry about it - breathing is automatic, its ultimately under the control of the autonomic nervous system. Also you don't need to control your breath to WILD, but if you want you can slow it and/ or watch it (like in Vipassana meditation). BTW - During sleep paralysis, its only the big muscles like arms and legs, that are suppressed. Supposedly this is to stop you acting out your dreams and hurting yourself. None of the ANS is affected. Eyes and lips etc are also not paralysed (hence REM and sleep talking).
