Striving not to strive...
Let Me tell U MY Story... |
|
It's quite diffrent for me, I lay there and focus on being in the dream, and eventualy I'll lose track of the physical world, and I'll just be there, last time I did it it took me an hour on my back (feels like less) but I never once fell asleep on my back before, let alone had an ld on it. |
|
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
I really wanna know what it's like for people to have an SP, what you feel until you finally fall asleep... |

Striving not to strive...
I was just wondering if any1 else would like to help me :/ |

Striving not to strive...
i have the same problem. I got the furthest i ever have last night, I was laying for about a half hour or so, i so the numbness on my body and just tried to look at the HI without getting too involved, its hard to explain, but thats the best way, look at the HI and just keep your mind conscious, think to yourself, and keep yourself calm. For some unknown reason my HI is always purple at first, and then it comes into color once I really get into it. So once you start gettin HI all you have to do is what i jsut said and not get too involved, just flow with it. Eventually, if you're not trying really hard, you will get full color pictures behind your eyes and just 'slip' into the dream. |

The experiences i get off WILD are fascinating; especially when I get to the SP's, my whole body goes numb, and everything gets heavy eventually, I feel prods and pokes here and there, sometimes pulling on my leg, your chest gets heavy, then the HI, the colors, you should watch them like your watching clouds, be passive let them happen, (try and make out their shapes |

I'm glad you said that. You reassured me that it was really my first trip into SP last night and not some invisible being poking me in my thigh. Haha, it's actually a creepy first time experience. Something poking my leg and my heightened heartbeat rate disturbed me enough to sit up in bed and look around. |

I hate the ending myself,
but it started with an alright scene.
I bet everyone would find it creepy during their first experience, sometimes the SP still gets me. But they work like a mood enchancer, if your scared then the hallucinations you get = scary. I remember I got to a point once, that all of a sudden I fell through my bed (you know how its like when you get that feeling-the adrenaline rush), I jerked a little but tried to remain calm; but I kept falling and falling until I gave up because I couldnt concentrate. |

There's a method called the sound method. You basically need TOTAL silence and listen to the tiny ringing noise in your years. Just relax and concentrate on it. Eventually, it will intensify. Then ... |

I was thinking of making another topic but, since this one is just what I want to ask, I'll post here. |

Spots of love in a deep and red scarlet...
Lucid Count: 6 (yay!)
Hello again, young padawan. |
|
This guy,, and this guy,
, are mine. BACK OFF!
Okay, in the WILDs I've managed to get to come out, here's what I get: |
|
All these lucid terms are new to me. However I have been having lucid dreams with dream control since I was 4 years. If my understanding is correct of WILD it's making yourself have a lucid dream while you are still awake, which apprently is what I have been doing since probably 10 years old. I do this almost every night! My technique is extremely time consuming, but has almost always worked for me. I lay in bed on my back in as confortable position as possible. I pick my topic/adventure or continue from where I left off the previous night. On new topic/adventures is where it takes the most time. The reason is I build my world down to the details. For example I started a new one last week in a cabin in the woods. I didn't just picture a cabin. I built the cabin from the frame up, including how the timbers were joined together. And that continues with the things in the cabin. All this is done while still awake laying in bed. |
