Can't get past sp when WILDing

Whenever I try a WILD, I can get to sp. I go through the whole transition, I feel the tingling, and my body feels like it goes away, but then everything just stops. Everything is blank. I don't see anything, but I can't feel my body either. I hope someone can help.
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying. "You're next".
They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals

      ATC: "N123YZ, say altitude."
      N123YZ: "ALTITUDE!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say airspeed."
      N123YZ: "AIRSPEED!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say cancel IFR."
N123YZ: "Eight thousand feet, one hundred fifty knots indicated."

One man's crash is another man's carefully planned landing maneuver.

Well there's one important question here: do you attempt WILD right at bedtime? Or do you sleep for 3.5–7 hours first? Because I've attempted WILD at bedtime before and got nowhere after laying there for 2 hours. I got to the SP transition like you, but it's almost impossible to get any further than this without waiting a very long time, because you will have to actually go through all your usual stages of pre-REM sleep (which can last up to 2 hours) before getting to REM. All dreams (90&#37 are formed in REM sleep.

If you ARE sleeping for 3.5–7 hours (or doing it in the afternoon timeslot), then please specify exactly what you do during the WILD before I offer some help.

Has anyone been able to go directly into a dream from sp?

I strongly suggest that you only attempt WILD after having had about 3.5 to 7 hours of regular sleep (set your alarm), because trying it at bedtime is nearly impossible, no matter whether you reach SP or not. I see in your signature that you have had success with WBTBs? Well when you do a WBTB, combine it with WILD.

Yes, in fact sleep paralysis always signifies that you're entering the sleep stages. But if you try WILD right at normal bedtime, you'll only be entering the early stages of sleep when you enter SP, so there'll be a very long wait before you get to a dream—if you can even get there.
