Hmmm, as per my previous response, have you bought a REM Dreamer yet? This is a crutch but it's a helpful tool in learning.

I have nothing to say that isn't in my sig - the English language bit.

You are probably trying too hard, and psyching yourself out. In Laberge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming in a section called "Lucid Dreaming is Easier Than You May Think" he says:
Sometimes people develop mental blocks that effectively prevent them from intentionally inducing lucid dreams. Typically, they think of lucid dreaming as a very difficult state to achieve. Beliving this seems to make it so.
Thinking about LDs a lot is good, but getting flustered is a sign that you should probably take a few days to a week off, and put it out of your mind for a bit. Things will be easier when you return.

Never give up! Sometimes it can take longer than a few months to get your first lucid. I hear it takes some people years. But it is definatly worth the wait!

Plus, I belive you are over-doing it. Try to relax and take it one step at a time. It might not be good to try all those things at once, try them seperately for about two weeks each to see what works best for you.

i thought i was the same way, nothing seemed to be working. but a couple nights ago i got soooo close. now realize i CAN do it. and that confidence is an unstoppable force

if your that stressed by this, take a week off. just sleep and maybe it will happen by itself

      Hey there,

Like people here said, rather then give up, just take a break. Let yourself relax a bit. Take a week or two of normal sleep, do nothing. Enjoy your dreams as they for a little while. Lucid dreams are great, but normal dreams can be a lot ot fun too! Focus on remembering and writing down your nightly adventures for a while.

There is such a thing as trying too hard. And it sounds like you're there. When it stops being fun, enjoyable, and interesting, and it starts feeling frustrating, like a chore, like something you 'have to do', that's the point where its usually best to take a step back, take a deep breath, relax a bit.

Yes, as the others have said, take a back and just relax for a bit. Try not to force lucidity too much. In my experience, beginners have found that they finally lucid dream after calming down the efforts a little. Don't quit, just relax.
