Lucid dreaming remains an art rather than a science. At this point, I can only conclude that some people have a natural gift for it, and others, like myself, are virtually incapable of it without special assistance. For six months, I did all the recommended stuff. I kept a journal. I got up at 2:00 in the morning, and then went back to bed. I set my intention before going to bed. I did the reality checks during the days, and the mnemonic exercises. I even tried self-hypnosis. And I was lucky if I managed even one lucid dream a month. |

Look. LDing involves mental resolve above all else. It takes time. I got my first LD within about 2-3 weeks after beginning to practice. However, there is a DV member who recently reported their first LD after 2 YEARS of practicing. My point is to just stick with it and stay positive. Also, you should buy the book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge. It's really helpful. |

What techniques have you tried? Are you just hoping for a DILD or have you tried WBTB/WILD/VILD/MILD/DEILD etc.... |
