Hi, I'll test it tonight but i havemy doubts, wish me luck. |

I want some people to test a version of WILDs: OASIWILD! I'm busy with Clarity's technique so try this out. It's a wild induced this way: |

Try my Lucid rpg: lucidrage Island:http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...d=1#post486262
Random things i wanna do..
+Meet someone famous+Go back in time to the Dinosaur era+go to an alien planet+ be worshipped as a god and have a temple built after me.
LD's in last week:3
Also doubtful, might have to get into a very relaxed state via breathing first and then begin. |
|
I'll test it too, and I'm quite optimistic about it. |
|
I'll give it a try, but I'm no good with WILDs. What does that stand for, though? |

It stands for object and scene induced wake induced lucid dream! I'll give it a shorter name as soon as I think of one. An important part in this excercize it the timing of switching scenes so that you don't get bored and let your mind drift. I tried it last night to slow, fell asleep, but I believe that if I give is a set number of breaths it will work continuosly. I have to find the number first, though. I'll work on it tomorrow night. Still needs fine tuning, but like I said, it really helps with vividness. |

Hmmmm, mix of VILD and WILD, sounds interesting to me. I'd try, but my visualisation is shit. |

LDs: loads and counting![]()
LD Goal: A fine single malt scotch and a fine cuban cigar (accomplished, but need to do it more)
I'll give it a shot too. I think what I'll do is focus/defocus with each breath. I'll report back |

Dream Big, Live Large.... BTW, can you breath with your nose pinched shut?
I guess I will try, I haven't had a wild yet, maybe this one will work. |

First the good news. Every day I do a BWE session with LD messages in them. I use the sessions as a training ground for maintaining concentration during HI. Most of the time, I fall into whatever the HI is showing me and I just fall asleep. Using the method you describe I was able to maintain my concentration throughout the entire session. Now the bad news. In order to change focus from an object in the fore of your vision to one in the background, it's only natural, for me anyway, to have to look at the fore vs background or vice versa. That means a movement of the eye, something I've been led to believe is counterproductive to WILD. I wonder if side by side images alternating in and out of focus would work the same? I'll let you know when I try it during WBTB tonight. |

Hmm... But what if you forget the purpose of the exercise? What if you become so involved with the images that all hopes of lucidity escapes you? That's why I prefer "1-I'm dreaming, 2-I'm dreaming..." to visualization techniques. |

As promised, I tested your object in hand technique. Here's my report: |

Good that it worked for you, Orvus! Can't wait to see other replies. I'm still sort of tweaking this method. I think five breaths each on the hand and the scenery works well. I haven't had a serious try in a while! I'm too tired lately. Orvus, what do you mean when you say that you spun? |
|
I let my dream body spin. I feels like being on a giant hamster wheel, spinning very fast around its axis. It also feels like falling, but it would be "falling in circles". Sometimes it happens by itself, but I've been able to do it at will recently. |
|
Looks like an interesting experience, Seeing as i have alot of trouble with WILD'ing- I'll give it a shot. |
|
You reveal that a reveal check reveals nothing.
I'll give it a try if I wake up in the middle of the night tonight. |

Control is Everything
LD Count:33
WILD:6, DILD:27, MILD:3
(At this point, I've completely lost count. Those are my last accurate stats.)
I'll give it a try right now and i'll tell you how it works out. |
