That is a pretty good question. Maybe all of them would work. I've never WILDed, so it's hard for me to say. |

Do you know the terror of he who falls asleep? To the very toes he is terrified, Because the ground gives the way under him, And the dream begins... - Friedrich Nietzsche
I think it would be after, for if you wake up during, you're going to be really tired and mentally disoriented, it might seriously damage your chances of a WILD [all of that however, was really just a suggestion you could probably disregard, I've only managed WILD once and it wasn't even intentional... I was just too lost in thought and found myself in a dream, already lucid O.o] |

Well I always try to time it after, not only because it`s the only way I can wake myself up naturally, but because the dreams I just had are still fresh in my mind. |

yeah spartiate? thanks for the answer (though this may sound silly) but have you had any success with this timing? |

Yes, well I wake up naturally after a dream period (this from training myself with MILD and such), so I always wake up right after the end of REM sleep. I can pretty much set a time in my mind to wake up to before falling asleep (only if I`m well rested though), I usually wake up 5-10 minutes past the desired time. |
