Thread: ?Hand RC

Well, last LD I had I also looked at my hands, and they were jsut as my real life hands :S Maybe that's because of all the times I've looked at my hands (doing RC).

my hands always look normal too. i stopped using the hand rc awhile back. too unreliable for me

In a recent (albeit short) LD, I waved my hand in front of my face to become lucid. It wasn't the shape of the hand that was strange, but the way it moved through the air. It sort of . . . lagged, like if you wave your hand quickly in front of a webcam. I've found that for most, trying to plug your nose and keep breathing is more reliable.

Usually when I do the hand RC, I'll have the wrong number of fingers or something will be wrong with them. Once, all of my fingers sort of "forked" in the middle into two distinct fingers. In another, I had about eight fingers per hand, and each one would vanish when I pointed to it.

In my lucid the other day i noticed my hands were normal as well but i already knew i was lucid.

Your hands will look exactly the same, but it's often other factors - for instance, a few nights ago, I tried to bring my hand up palm-first, but I raised it back-first. That's how I became lucid.
