Hey all. I was just wandering which technique gives best results, and how often. Im currently focused on two techniques. MILD and DILD. I know mild consists of waking up for about 5 mins or less, while dilds are waking up for an hour or more. Which is more effective and consistant for you guys? Also, i know that DILDS are the most common LDs. I was wandering when most people had DILDS. By couinsidence or from staying awake for an hour after 6 hours of sleep. Or perhaps from a RC. Thanks for your time guys! |

I got my first lucid from a WBTB DILD combination where I woke up at 6 and stayed awake for about an hour. I heard this is one of the most effective methods for beginners. |

Total LD's: 5 (4 DILD, 0 WILD, 1 MILD,
0 FILD)
Most efficient is DEILD, it's pretty much foolproof, but it's hard. |

This morning was the perfect time to Mild...but jsut as i was falling back to sleep my dad woke me up for school. What a shame lol. |

When I do it correctly, WBTB MILD works 100% of the time |

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it
DILD can be combined with WILD, which, as you mentioned, involves waking up about six hours after the onset of sleep. You don't have to stay up for an hour. I find fifteen minutes sufficient (half of which are spent in bed!). You can tailor it to suit your needs. |
