Thread: Thirst Induced Lucid Dreams (TILDs) are great!

I find TILDs (Thirst Induced Lucid Dreams) really relibable, if you can handle being so thirsty.
They give me 100% reliability of becoming lucid, and I do one every now and again.
The only drawback is that they make you sooo thirsty!

Spoiler for Steps of how I do a TILD:

1. Don't drink anything up to an hour before bed, place a single glass of water near your bed but DON'T DRINK!
   
2. In the night I will end up waking up automatically because I am too thirsty.
   
3. Once I am awake I imagine I am getting up and drinking. NOT FOR REAL!
   
4. As I keep on imagining getting up and drinking I suddenly will. I am then in a lucid dream.

Has anyone else every tried this? I read it in one of the tutorials (can't find link again)

It's a good technique, but I can't stand the dehydration. >.<

how many times have you tried this and it worked? (ill try it myself)

I've had this work a couple times, but like most things, it doesn't work for me every time.

I tried it ONCE, intensely, like I sucked on salt an hour before.

I have heard of this on a different website. They said to use salt to make you thirsty, but I like your idea better
