Serious problem - help me out!

OK so this has happened almost every time I try becoming from a DILD. It's pretty weird.

I realize I'm dreaming, but I'm not lucid yet. And now you may think that's strange because by definition you're lucid when you are aware of your dream. That is not true in my case, however. I realize I'm dreaming, but to get lucid I need to make the conscious descision to "enter" my dream body. But when I do that I am both aware of my body in bed and my dream body and I feel heavy vibrations and I can feel my heart racing. Usually I wake up here and I never make it fully into the dream which just fades away. I just can't get lucid now it seems.

      So, any tips and thoughts?

      Thanks / Bohman
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

It sounds like you are becoming lucid as you wake up, sort of, rather than the other way around? Sometimes when I'm just waking up from a lucid I'm in that OBE-void state.

The only thing I can think of is to try DEILD. Don't move and try to get back in the dream.

Maybe somebody else will have a better idea. Good luck.

I fully understand your situation. I had pretty the same experience as you. Started as a regular dream. Then I became lucid, .... was lucid.... lucidity faded. ANd i started to feel my real and dream body at the same time. It was crazy.

What i felt from the real body were my eyes, which i could open. When i opened them, the picture was foggy. When i opened my dream eyes, the picture was clear. So i was thinking.... The brain is enhancing my visuals, so i decided to finally open the dream eyes. And that was it.

That was also my longest lucid experience. I know, it was not exactly the same situation as i was lucid before. But maybe it could help you to reenter dream even when you feel both of your bodies.
