I was dreaming that i was dreaming about having a lucid dream but i was lucid. weird any thoughts?

So lets clear this up: you were lucid, and the dream content regarded lucidity? Sounds normal.

I also had a simalar dream to this one; In reality, I was asleep, dreaming about being asleep and dreaming in a lucid state, and I knew that I was dreming, but I was watching my lucidity. Here's what I mean, please excuse the messy-ness. I think its normal, it only happened once to me. In fact, this thread jogged my memory of it *That should say "In-Dream-Dream", not "Drea,". Sorry :/

could you have just been lucid and had a false awakening? it seems like you woke up from a dream but you were still dreaming. if not, how did you tell you were double dreaming or whatever?

I had a dream i was dreaming, but no lucidity involved. still if you weren't lucid, my theory may still work. how did you tell you were dreaming while dreaming? if you woke up from one and were still in a dream, it was probably just a false awakening. so how could you tell you were super dreaming?

I have never actually dreamed i was dreaming. I have slept in my dreams but I didnt dream during that sleep, it was just a nothingness.

that reminds me of a dream that I had where I found some lucid goggles, put them on, laid down to sleep, became lucid but never realized I could control anything.
