I dont know if I actually woke up but I went into just a black area then waited a couple seconds and I was in the dream again

Dying in a dream must be painful for when you wake up. Not as painful as the real thing though of course,

Does this mean you're going to go be running and diving off of cliffs now to see if you're dreaming?

I like jumping off of things when I'm already lucid. I'm afraid of heights when I'm not lucid.

I died in a dream once. Arrow through the skull. It was kind of interesting, because there were a few seconds where it felt like my brain was trying to figure out how it should present this experience to me, then it gave up and I woke up. It wasn't painful at all, though.

I died in one dream and I didn't wake up until after my soul left my body... That was an experience that marked me for life. I could feel my body die and I felt like I was shifting and floating out and I remember a feeling of "goodbye" to my life, like it was complete and meant to be...

At the point when I felt like I was starting to expand or dissolve into existence I woke up very relaxed, just opened my eyes.

If I die in my dreams, I normally just have a false awakening. It's good that you managed to become lucid from it, though.

That's funny....I've died in dreams and still didn't realize I was dreaming. How silly of me lol.

I remember dying in a dream...

I was shot by someone i know. It was a wierd out-of-body feeling when my body fell to the floor.

i died another time when i was shot by 5-6 arrows at the same time. That time i didn't feel a thing, i just died really fast.''I din't get lucid from either of them though...

I can remember two dreams where I've died, one being last week.

I was outside a guy's house, and he was pointing a gun at me, stopping me from trespassing. I noticed a snake around my leg, and I figured I could either run or wait. I took my chances with running, but ended up stepping on the snake, causing it to bite me. After a few seconds, I had trouble standing up (it's hard to explain, it felt weird), I tried to keep my balance the best I could, but everything started to fade to black, and I finally just gave up and fell down. I didn't wake up though, the dream went back to when the snake was around my leg, like some kind of video game.

The other time I remember happened when I was really young. I was in the wild west or something, and a guy shot me with a rifle. I just fell down as everything faded to black, then I woke up.

One time I had a dream where I was hit by a bus and everything turned bright white, it was intense.

I've died in dreams twice before. The only time someone else killed me was my first entry in my dream journal, where someone came up behind me and shot me in the back with a shotgun. I ended up walking down the street as a ghost. It was crazy.

The other time I died it was because I killed myself. Anyone else done that in a dream? I was fighting against these people, and they threw me against this wall. I knew that they were going to torture me for information or something like that, and I couldn't let them find out the secret I was hiding. I suddenly had a screwdriver in my hand and I plunged it into my chest, through my ribs, and into my heart. I felt, and heard, the skin and muscles rip as I did. It was crazy. My vision slowly blacked out. But then I was...resurrected? My vision came back and the people had left. I pulled the screwdriver out of my chest, got up, and went after them. It was a crazy experience.
