      WILD Technique.

Basically, lie on your back in bed, get relaxed, as you usually would. Try to clear your mind and go into a deeply relaxed state. After that, start trying to "feel" yourself rocking left and right. After a while it'll feel as if you truly are moving, and at this point you can try any normal method of trying to exit the body.

I realize this is more of an OBE-inducing technique, but because I feel Lucid Dreams and Out-of-Body experiences are the same thing, and are usually achieved through the same means, I felt like I should post it.

I'm not good on OBE, but this sounds simple enough. I'll take this information in....

      I took my nap.
I didn't manage the OBE, but this technique did make me have a lucid dream.
      props to you
I'll try it next time I take a nap.

Thank you, Maestro! I will have to try this tonight. I have had my suspicions about the relationship between lucids and OBE's. Was delighted to read your post!

I'll try it right now too, I was just about to take a nap.. the reason why I'm gonna try this is because it sounds very simple and I have experienced similar feelings when trying to WILD

It's not really a more OBE technique just because it involves tactile sensations, see thats were the illusion that you've left your body is, notice that the vast majority of OBE techniques are tactile, and WILD techniques are more mental based, and occasionally visual. If you do acheive a tactile wild then you'll most likely end up imagining your room in excellent detail, because you were just there, and I've heard a wild can result in a very vivid dream. And when you turn around as the thought of an OBE goes through your head your very likely to see your body still in bed, well you watch it.

But truly tactile is a very good method to WILD with, it's even better if you can relaxingly add visualisation to the mix, may make it harder in the beginning stages of visualising though, but it is very useful.

So far no luck with this yet...
I still plan to keep trying though. I kept running into relaxing too much and falling asleep. Then if I woke up, I'd try again, but if I was too awake and not relaxed anymore, I couldn't do it.
      Hmmm...
