I have the same problem. Each time when I'm about to enter the dream, I get this insane adrealine rush. I get this really good feeling all over my body, and I get an erection lol. Then I snap out of it. Usually I would suddenly 'slide' into a setting, like you would be flying over the floor, but really close to the ground. The further I slide like this, the more vivid, colored, sharper and brighter the setting becomes and the better the feeling gets.. but each time when I feel im going to completely go into the dream, I snap out of it. It's like I realize 'wow im entering the dreamworld' and then I realize that theres another world, the real world around me and that instantly breaks the illusion and I'm back to the real world.
This getting sucked into a dream takes like 2 seconds. And I feel like these 2 seconds are the most important of WILDing. It's the moment you fall asleep and enter the dreamworld that you have to keep an eye on, all the rest isn't important, because all the rest happens automaticly.
You don't need to know how to enter Sleep Paralysis, or you don't need to know how to relax, these are things you do each day, each night, you don't need practise for that. I've wasted much time on this. Don't bother with that stuff, it's not like you need to learn how to fall asleep! You already do it all the time. You just need to pay attention to the moment when you are falling asleep.
