a new kind of reality check?

i dunno if anyone else does it, i dont myself but i just thought of it. the key is being skeptical. always ask yourself "how did i get here? when did i put on these clothes? do i normally act like this?" etc. has anyone ever tried this? how effective is it?

This is a really good one. If you can make this questioning state of mind into a habit then youlll be lucid all the time. High awareness in the waking state means high awareness in the dreaming state. Good one.

I've heard of it. It sounds effective.
This is the date of my first lucid: 3/6/2010
It took WAY TOO LONG - but was completely worth it.

Yes, I think this is a good strategy. I think that when people do other reality checks that is just a method to get them to constantly question reality. It seems like the best way to induce DILDs

      Sounds familiar

I normally do this whenever something is strange, even if something is slightly out of place or the time isn't what I expected it is working good so far as I'm already getting LDs weekly after starting, and I've only been trying for 3ish weeks

This is, to me at least, the best way of getting lucid in a dream. In one of my dreams, I had read some text, but when I looked back at it later, it was gone. I asked myself, "How'd that happen?" and I got lucid.

'Tis a shame the dream only lasted a minute.
