If you were in a dark room it wouldn't matter. If you can tell that your eyes are opening, you should dispense with the nightlight. |

I can't really sleep on my back for the same reason. It seems like I have to work to close my eyes. Do you only sleep on your back when you WILD? |

Try a sleep mask. |

Same problem here - they just snap open when I'm close to WILD, no idea why. |

Me: "Just answer me one question: Is this a dream?"
DC: "As far as I know it is, of course."
I love my DCs! xD

Agreed. A sleep mask would be a simple solution. Alternatively, I'd make sure you're tired enough before attempting a WILD. If you're tired and go to sleep normally, your eyes don't struggle to stay open, right? But don't be TOO tired or you'll fall asleep unconscious. |

Don't go to sleep right after being on a computer or watching TV, these can stimulate your eyes way too much and make it harder to keep them closed. Maybe listen to music in the dark or do something that doesn't involve bright flashing lights. |

Try looking slightly upwards. I find this is one of our normal eye positions during sleep. |
