      WILD Catalyst

I am new and have yet to have a lucid dream thusfar but the other night i attempted a WILD and got to the SP stage but each time my dog would bark or some other loud noise would break my concentration.

Just posting what I found that might help make a WILD easier as I have had 0 luck before that attempt.

Drink a 5-hour energy during the day and go to bed rough 5 1/2 hours after you drink it.

I'm not sure why but i would assume it is accredited to the amount of B vitamins contained.

      Hope this is helpful.

Um, thanks? But if you have only tried to WILD once, and have not received any benefits from the energy drink, how can you be sure that it has a positive effect, or an effect at all?

If you are already in sleep paralysis, which should be a short, 1-2 minute transitional stage, then I'd suggest trying to incorporate the noises into your dream. That's what I do, at least. Who knows? If you were really in sleep paralysis, perhaps your dog didn't actually part, and it was really hypnogogic audio from a forming dream. If you let the dog bark pass over you, then your mind may form a dream around it.

If you passively ignore it (don't let it bug you), then that noisy garbage truck can become blue thunder, those bird calls can become imperial trumpets, and that flashing light can become the alien's beacon...

it was not my first attempt at a WILD, by new i meant have never had a LD, i have tried many time to WILD however. and as for being part of SP, when i heard the barking i did a RC and found i was awake and the thing kept barking, its an annoying high pitched yelp. ah well this was just a suggestion of something to try that might help that does not involve rearranging your sleep schedule if you work during the week
