      Vibrations

      Just a question about WILD:

      How strong do vibrations usually feel? Are they very jarring and noticeable? Or are they more subtle like small fluctuations rising through the entire body? Does it vary for people or are they general consistent in 'severity'?

      I've only attempted WILD, but my vibrations are mild. Others feel them intensely, and some don't feel them at all. It depends on the person.

      Thanks for the reply. Anyone else? I can't figure out if what I experienced was vibrations. Basically I felt waves of pulsing up my entire body, but they were not jarring. However, I paniced because I've never done WILD before and I am sorta afraid of SP. They went away because I'd obviously scared the WILD off. X_X;

      WILD vibes feel dissociative, for me. After they start, I feel like I can't feel my body specifically. It's not like "Oh! My hands are being shocked!", but more like a feel of shock up or down on my body.

      Don't fear! It's only a dream!

      I could compare the feeling to having pins and needles sweeping my entire body quickly. Sound like them? Or was I just having pins and needles? XD

      That sounds painful. X_o;;

      I've had it to where it feels like my body literally fell asleep (that kind of pins and needles), but more mild/pleasant. Many times vivid imagery or noises accompany dream entry. If my method is not dream incubation, or if I'm focusing on the SP, I can sort of "see" what I'm feeling (fuzzy patterns, swirling patterns, blotchy colors).

      I'm fairly sure I was on my way to a WILD. I was using a guided Mp3 (the Yoga Nidra track someone post up here recently). It must have worked very well because I was getting so distracted by my HI I couldn't focus on the recording! However, the HI was also distracting me from remembering my intention to stay awake as I entered the dream state. I think if I had continued like that, I would have just fallen into a normal sleep. But as it was, I ended up rousing myself (after the vibrations scared me) and just going to sleep.

      My vibrations feel like an, ehh.., I'd say a 4.7 earthquake.

      Mine feel like pins and needles all over my body, but very mild, almost like soft pins, i wouldn't say its uncomfortable, just a bit freaky.

      Mine feels like "butterflys in the stomach" but its all through my body. Also my eyes feel like they're twitching at lightning speed. To be honest its like drugs without side effects. Thats if you like it that much like me!

      My vibrations are pretty jarring. They feel like driving down a gravel road in a car with your skull rested against the window.

      There are two different types of vibrations.. maybe more.

      One - The tingaly sensations that most people claim to be vibrations that just mean you are entering a deep relaxation.

      Two - The huge vibrations that feel like a train passing through you at high speed.
