The catch to the well-known methods is that you train your mind consciously so that it seeps into your subconscious. That the only way you'll get from the stage of willfully instructing yourself to lucid dream to the stage of subconsciously instructing yourself to do so.That's when you'll start to feel yourself slipping into dreamland while still being able to focus on full dream immersion. It takes a while but not as long as you'd think. Currently, I'm a former LDer trying to relearn, starting all the way from recall. Look at this endeavor as a desire, not a chore. That affects your progress as well. |

well, when you say you need to dream.. you dream every night (if you sleep as usuall). |

my problem is the mindset i have. i just can't "trick" my own mind into a lucid dream. it seem to happen by chance... |
|
not enteirly... i'm saying that i can't break free from the regular dream to a lucid dream because my mind doesn't let me... |

I know what you mean. It was the same for me (and still very often), even when I see impossible things happening, I never get lucid. It just seems normal to me to fight with Hitler in 2008, or to swim in my floor (rofl my dreams rule) |
