      WILD vibration question

      Hello,
I was wondering if your WILD vibrations hurt when you have them. I ask this because last night while WILDing I had some hurtful vibrations that kept me from WILDing. This is the first time any of my vibrations have hurt before. So I was wondering if this was a normal thing with other people.

A little info, where the vibrations hurt I had some sore muscles, could this have caused the painful vibrations?

      Thanks for the help

      D.G.

The Vibrations, are all in your mind. Its not a physical thing as far as I'm aware, which means sore muscles shouldn't actually effect the vibrations hurting.

Have you ever entered the Vibration state before, and if so, have they ever hurt like that before?

Every time I enter the Vibrations State, they never hurt. They just feel like slight vibrations, just enough to be noticeable.

I have had this question before. Are the vibrations physical or in your head (For all you philosophical people out there, I mean are the vibrations afecting the external, like moving the bed or something)?

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

All the vibrations you feel are created internally. You feel as if your vibrating, because your brain is telling you that you are. Its similar to when you go into sleep paralysis. You can hear and see things that aren't there, feel "presences" that aren't there, and so on. All of this occurs inside your head.

If you've ever been WILDing, and felt like you were spinning in circles, floating, or falling through the bed, then you know that those experiences aren't really happening. The same is true for the Vibrations you feel. They are real to you, but nothing in the external world (that is, outside of your mind) is happening that would produce or otherwise react to those vibrations.

It can. I've had Vibrations that range from a simple tingly feeling, to all out "I feel like I'm about to explode" feelings. They don't usually last long.

The other feelings are quite fun to mess with though when you get the hang of it. Theres times I'll start feeling like I'm spinning, and so I'll stop myself so I can spin the other way, or I'll start making myself spin vertically instead of sideways. Other times, I just sit there and enjoy the feeling.

Anyway, each experience can be unique as far as what you experience. You may experience intense vibrations like I did where you feel like your moving fast, or you may experience little vibrations that feels like your just sitting in a vibrating chair or something. It varies from person to person.

Some people can get really good control of their vibrations, and actually change where they feel them, and how intensely. I'm sure theres a thread on it somewhere already if you search a little.

Wow! I experience these almost every day! If I stay concious through this, will I get lucid?

Its hard to say. I stay conscious through out these quite often, but never can quite push myself into Lucidity. If you can ride them out, and continue breathing/relaxing the same way that got you there, you should be able to get lucid through them. For me though, alot of the time the reason I don't get Lucid through them, is when they happen, I can't help but spend alot of my time focusing on the vibrations or spinning feelings, that makes my mind get too active to get into the REM state, so instead remains half-ass there.

I actually have a problem with vibrations. They start normally, like a small tingle, and start at my feet, and end there. Keeping my feet there long like that makes them cold, but when I start moving a bit it all comes back. So I'm assuming your pain, is, in fact imaginary.

It doesn't hurt, but it feels like my body is twisted and stretched and thrown around. Somehow it's rather contortion than vibration for me, I only remember to have had vibrations once. Most of the time I have an OBE afterwards that is quite different from LDs but in many ways similar, more similar than different.

Just had such an experience, but my cat did everything it could to prevent it. For some reason she gets pretty nervous when I go for a WILD. I'll try again later using earplugs.

Wow, your vibrations hurt? They've scared the shit out of me sometimes but they've never actually been painful.

you don't actually have physical vibrations; its not like you start shaking in bed. Its all mental, but it sometimes feels so real that you can't be blamed for thinking you are physically shaking - other times you just feel a mild tingling sensation. And when you are in the right state to have these vibrations you aren't aware of muscle soreness at all so it shouldn't matter.

My cat does that too! At first I thought it was just a coincidence but every time I wild when she's around she starts acting up.
