Yeah whenever I have an LD I usually go Lucid for some random reason, and then I do an RC after. I have only gone lucid from an RC like two times.

Yea a couple of times I have seen a digital clock or writing, said "Well I've already looked at it once, may as well RC..." and lo-and-behold! I was dreaming! Those ones are always such a surprise and shock, more like my first lucid than ones where you suspect or just know.

Yeah I don't RC in dreams out of habit. Actually I haven't been doing it in real life as much, and consequently haven't had any lucids in a while. The RCs aren't what do it for me, its the skeptical mindset that comes with RCing often, that all of reality could be a ruse, a dream, an illusion. That leads my mind to question dreams as well as real life. I RC once I know I'm dreaming to confirm so I don't jump out of a window or something.

For me, its about feeling most of the time. And reality check is just a way to be sure. But most of the time, i am even not doing reality check, becouse i feel its a dream.

As for the transition from non lucid into lucid state it seems like expanding of my consciusness. It feels actually as if it was really me present in a dream.

I've actually never attained lucidity from a reality check before, even if I have every reason to believe I'm dreaming. Reality checks really just don't do it for me. I oftentimes find myself coming up with some sort of justification as to why the RC failed.

This usually comes in the form of a light not turning on, or suddenly burning out. But, "Nah, I guess I just need a new light bulb.", Or "I guess need a new alarm clock, this one is shot."

Yes I usually look at a digital clock so in my dreams most clocks are digital and thus fuxored usually causing me to go lucid which is nice.
