PS: I wouldn't waste energy trying to "expose" anyone who isn't really able to LD. Who really cares? Just be thankful that you can do it! I think it would be more fun to set the same task for everyone and compare results purely as an interest activity. If you do it with the purpose of exposing phonies then you actually involve them in the forum and they are more likely to stay.

What did I ruin? I didn't discuss the results, and thus far, no one has... I only made the information available for other people who wanted to try it.

I think you're a bit of a (okay, a total) control freak... and what's up with this Narcissistic complex that makes you the only true lucid dreamer?

If you're so paranoid as to think that this site is full of people who have nothing better to do than pretend they have lucid dreams, why waste your time here? This place isn't about bragging about who has the most LDs... if you actually look around, you'll see that most people admit they have trouble having LDs, and they're here looking for help... not someone to tell them they're inferior.

You've proved yourself a controlling know-it-all, and what's more, an irrational hot-head... I don't see the connection between me posting the information you were sending to everyone and the conclusion that we are all faking lucid dreams. It's not a matter of telling everyone your stupid game so we can collaborate and convince some anonymous prick across teh intertoobs that we genuinely have LDs... it's a matter of seeing what this little charade is all about, which is obviously nothing but a game to inflate your ego some more.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly won't miss you when you decide you leave us "fibbers" for a more genuine forum.

If you want people to blindly indulge your every whim, you're looking for a cult, not a forum. The idea here is the free exchange of ideas, which includes calling bullshit on, well, bullshit like this.

He just wants to try and use DV to expand on his group. I think using the liar approach is just a ploy to try and get people to do his tasks for him.

I think you guys should read through some of his other threads and posts before deciding to spend any of your valuable Lucid time on him.

Because the words we are supposed to shout are a bit unusual I'm going to have to practise saying them aloud over the course of the day in order to remember them, which may affect the result I get in my dream. I've written them on a piece of paper which I will carry around today and pull out every time I do a RC. No doubt I will get some very strange looks from members of the public lol!!!

Well, even though I definitely have bigger priorities to achieve in my LDs (especially since I'm not achieving much lucid time at the moment) I'm gonna try it coz it only takes a few seconds. Plus, it's really important for me to keep doing things when I become lucid otherwise I tend to wake up.

OMG I just read some of your dream journal and I am sooooo jealous. Your dreams are amazing! Especially the one where you consciously changed your entire environment. That is unbelievable control. You lucky thing :-)

If you email the same task (or a similiar one) to everyone, how exactly can it be ruined from posting it here? It would seem to me that nobody have discused it, so I can not see how it would be "tainted."

As others have said, it seems odd that you believe can arbituarily decide whether or not we are lying about our Lucids (which, as others have said, why would you?) Calling the person who posted the question "afraid that you would unmask him" also seems a bit rash, no?

That being said, the idea and challenges you put forth have interest and validity, but the idea that one person should singlehandedly "unmask fibbers" through them seems a bit strange.

And it's not just Mad Hatter and the Anonymous troll. Several other people PMed their task to each other, after I had specifically asked them not to do that. They unmasked themselves as Liars Club members too.

But Mad Hatter has never had an LD in his life. You can take that to the bank.

That's a rather bold assumption. I don't see the connection between sharing the task and being a liar, having had no Lucid Dreams. Although you have a right to be unhappy for them breaking "the rules," making outlandish claims like that are pointless.

I think what he's getting at, by his clearly mentally illness related lack of distinction between reality and dreams is that this Cynthia girl would give us all a specific definition, and anyone who got a different answer than his was a liar.

Well all I can say is... I personally don't give a fat rat's crack who else is having or not having lucid dreams. So long as I'm having them I'm happy lol!

I don't see the big deal. He wants to do an "experiment", let him. If you don't want to participate, don't. It doesn't make anyone look any better than he by attacking him. If anything, you (general) look just as bad, if, indeed he is a troll or whatever you all call them.

At first, I was all like 'what an idiot' because it pissed me off he was trying to call people liars. I sat back, thought about it and realized, what is the big deal? I know I don't lie, so I'm not going to get all huffy and puffy. I think those who are getting all riled up are either insecure, or want to prove something, what? I have no clue. If anything, just ignore him. Why stir up anything? I never understood that on message boards. I guess people are bored, and want entertainment.
