      Hypnopompic SP gravitates towards LD

      Let me explain.

I have had SP only few times in my life, so I cannot be expert in this. But one
(obvious) thing that I realized was, that when I get into that state it tends to gravitate towards dream more than towards reality. I have to make strong conscious effort to wake up from SP. Of course episode of sleep paralysis is accompanied by dark presence and I have to do everything to leave the state. I have readed that just letting go may help me towards lucid dream.

Now I would like to tell you how i achieved all of my SP episodes (I have never had any before I tried this). I just told myself that after waking up, i cannot move. It was not my intention to be paralysed, I just wanted to recall my dreams better.

      1. Was it the intention I dont want to move, which caused SP episode?
      2. What do you think is the cause of the force which forces you back to hallucinations?
      3. Dont we use the same force when doing DEILD, or when doing WILD to enter LD?

Please let me know your opinions

That's pretty cool, its almost like you tricked yourself into SP, almost like self-hypnosis. I bet that was what caused it, in combination with just waking up, making it similar to a DEILD.

In these instances, did you move into a LD from the SP?

No.. Unfortunately I didnt. I am yet to confront my fears and let go. But still it was interesting to observe the inherent gravitation of this state. I am just wondering if this is the same what happens when we are doing WILDs, if there is some point in which awareness starts to move towards dream and not outwards.

Maybe its just about the brain chemistry in REM, maybe just some delusions but it really felt like its hard to wake up and its so easy to remain under effect of hallucinations
