Dream Recall.......?

When I wake up, I do not remember anything of my dream but I know I did dream so I don't move and try to remember. Little by little my dreams come back and remember. Most of the time I remember many dreams but really small parts from each. Almost just a picture (some I remember almost completly) Is that a bad dream recall, as, Do I still have improvment to do before even thinking about trying an LD? [Edit] What is you guys' dream recall. How many dreams do you remember per night, how clearly, how long? ANd that's when for when you started getting LDs voluntearly. [Edit] I find it easy to remember a dream once I've went through it once and keep thinking about it every once and then. Just a question If in an LD, since I'm conscious, if I go through my dream (I think of what I would be writing in my DJ) while I live the lucid dream, will I remember it better? Since I'm conscious. Is the reason why we forget it even when conscious because we don't do what I suggested? Because we don't write every detail in that memory box in our head and we only wait to be awake to try to remember it? If we try remembering it while dreaming, won't the conscious help us remember it?
