      k, now i'm getting a little frustrated.

in my dream last night my friend (actually someone i met twice) was driving me around in her car and told me something about acne, and i thought "i'll have to remember that when i wake up"

      ...

that was it. nothing went from there, no lucidity, no RC.

i know it just takes a lot of patients but seriously, i've been doing everything right and perfect for the past 3 weeks. still nothing

anyone else have any stories like that?

sometimes it takes more then three weeks.
Patience my friend patience. If you don't have patience you will end up like all the inactive accounts on this forum. a failure.
      Keep trying.
Most people give up when their in your situation, But that is not the way to go.

Yeah, plenty. Near misses are frustrating, but they are signs that your training is progressing well. Keep at it and eventually you'll find success. This is totally different for each person and can take a while.

      Don't give up Stardrowned!

Just keep remembering your dreams, and slowly it'll come naturally.

Sounds like you may need to work on dream recall as that was really short. How long have you kept a dream journal for? Do you find you are able to sleep for long periods of time? Do you wake up to an alarm?

The more interferences, the more often you'll remember the dreams but the shorter they are.

Here is a good method, if it is applicable for you:

Let's say you have to wake up at 8am. Studies have vastly proven that awakening someone in REM period significantly enhances your dream recall. Thus, set your alarm for 7am. Then, when the alarm goes off, just add an hour. Once you wake up at 8am to your alarm, you should find very promising results.

This method is generally very successful but really depends on what you do in the morning and what you're waking up to, etc.

well i was just explaining that one part because it was significant. i remember the rest of that dream well. but my recall does kind of suck. i really only remember one dream a night, and it's usually during an REM period. ill try that though, thanks.
