You could be dreaming, and still hear the fan in your room. Many times I dream of water because of the sound my aquarium makes. Always be sure to reality check, even if you're sure you are awake. False awakenings can be highly realistic at times. |

Every time i try and wild, i feel all the waves and i think i enter sleep paralysis because i try and move my legs and arms but i cant. I imagine myself rubbing my hands together and touching different things in my room to keep myself focused and not falling asleep. But the problem is, i can never actually get into a dream, its like im only imagining myself in my room, but when i touch things i can actuallly feel it on my hands, its really weird. But i know im not dreaming because i can hear my fan in the background. |

If you are dreaming, you will be able to see (your "eyes" will already be open). If your dream has no visuals, I'd try and "think" my eyes open (visualize the room appearing) before doing a reality check. |
