How can simplifying your life be too complicated? At least make neat piles of messy things Or meditate, deep breathe to slow it down. You'd be suprized what you think you need but really don't need. For example, I used to get lots of newsletters which had to do with my career, which gave me tips on things, and what not. I realized that I didn't remember 1/2 of what I read, and I had all the info I needed in books, but didn't read them. And they took up my time online looking at emails I didn't need. Look at things and see if you really need 5 of ____ or if you can get by with 2 of ____ .

Oh, and TV is the ultimate killer of your mind (you have more brain activity while asleep than watching TV!!) and your time. Read the newspaper instead and go online for the whether and other news.
That to me insn’t really simplifying my life. I would really like to just lead a simple, relaxed life without computers, iPods, mobile phones, appointments and TV. In which I could be content with what I have, instead of running around needing to learn everything and chasing after 50 different interests simultaneously, always looking for elusive fulfilment. But how would I ever arrange that? It’s too complicated. And besides, even though I know it would probably make me happier, it’s hard to give up all this superfluous technology when it ostensibly makes our lives easier.
