Lightbulb Idea for a new RC

Hi there, a few weeks ago, I had an idea for a new simple RC, and wanted to try it out to see if it would work with me before posting it in, but as I hadn't had the chance yet, I'll provide it here so you can use it if it works for you.

My idea is mainly for people with sight problems, that are forced to use glasses to correct their sight problems.

In my theory, a person that is used to use glasses in real life (and thus, seeing fine most of the times), should be able to see without problems when not using glasses in dreams.

Here is an example of a way: Imagine a person that as trouble seeing far away. When that person looks far away he sees all blurry. But that person uses glasses (not contact lenses), so he can see fine most of the times when looking far away.
Because of that, that person's brain is used to interpret things correctly, and as that person is used to use glasses, that person doesn't notice them when using.
These factors should in theory make dreams where the person can see fine far away, but doesn't have glasses in them, or, if the glasses are taken out, that person should keep being able to see far away without problems.
This could work as an indicator that the person is dreaming, or a test if the person is suspicious of that.

When I say problems seeing far away, I can also say problems seeing close, or both, or even a different thing.

I just don't talk about people using contact lenses because it would be much harder to identify if a person is using contact lenses or not in a dream.

I know that RCs depend from person to person, so I'm not sure if it can work with all people (I hope it works with me), but it is a good idea for people with sight problems to try to take advantage of it.

So please tell me what you think, and tell me if it worked.

What is real? If you're talking about what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then real are electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

Well, I've read about this RC somewhere before so it's nothing new, really.

Unfortunately it won't work for me as I have no sight problems so I wear no glasses

Really? (The world wide web is big, I should have tough of that )
Anyway, I made this thread after making a quick search in this site, and didn't found anything (maybe the search was too quick ).

But I'll try to search better and see if this thread is nothing new (maybe I can even find info n results on the idea).

How overcomplicated. Just use mental RCs.

I don't see how complex it is. To me, he's mostly saying remove your glasses in RL and see if you can see fine. In a dream, if you remove them, you'll see fine which signals that its a dream. Not a bad idea, but, I would rather stick to the hand and nose RC, much quicker

As BigFan said, basically is just to remove the glasses and see if you can see fine. I just made a long amount of explanations on why I think it would work that made the idea seem overcomplicated

And I'll still keep my watch RC (seems more easy to me ), but the glasses RC can work as a backup RC or as a pseudo-dream sign (if I happen to notice I am seeing fine, then I do a RC).
