It depends. There's a quiz, made by Shift, that might help guide you a bit, but in the end you really just have to choose what you think will be the easiest/best for you. Reading a bit about all the methods will help you make an informed choice. |

Waking up in the middle of the night (more specifically, about 4.5 hours after going to bed) makes it much easier and probable to have a successful WILD. At this time in your nightly sleep cycle, your body will have entered the REM stage, meaning you'll re-enter at that same position in the cycle. |
