Question My dad doesn't believe that he or I can lucid dream? Help!

Hello! My dad and I have made a deal. If after a month of practicing, we still can't lucid dream, we will buy the "Nova Dreamer.

We are both pretty much clueless about how to achieve this.
Can someone please help us and set up a month schedule for us?

e.g. 1) For the first week, record dreams and make note of recurring themes

      Thank you so much!

An all-out approach would go something like this:

      1) Record every dream you have, even the ones that occur in the middle of the night.
      2) Review your dream journal each night before bed, to recall the feeling of dreaming, and remind yourself how exciting it is.
      3) Reality check all throughout the day. Work on staying more aware of yourself and your surroundings.
      4) Wake Back To Bed several times a week.
      5) WILD whenever you have time. Pair it with your WBTB.

Have you had a chance to read through some of the tutorials? Good reading material for your Wake Back To Bed time:

You'll be lucid in no time. One month is plenty of time

If you don't have the motivation to figure it out on your own, you won't be successful. Your ability to LD corresponds directly to the amount of energy you put into it.

Motivation and determination are the keys to unlocking the lucid world. When you fall off the horse, get right back on, and you shall have a successful lucid life!

It's really cool that your father is trying it with you. But, belief is a huge part of it. Maybe reading others' dream journals will help your father believe that he can.
