An all-out approach would go something like this: |

Hello! My dad and I have made a deal. If after a month of practicing, we still can't lucid dream, we will buy the "Nova Dreamer. |

If you don't have the motivation to figure it out on your own, you won't be successful. Your ability to LD corresponds directly to the amount of energy you put into it. |

Motivation and determination are the keys to unlocking the lucid world. When you fall off the horse, get right back on, and you shall have a successful lucid life! |

It's really cool that your father is trying it with you. But, belief is a huge part of it. Maybe reading others' dream journals will help your father believe that he can. |
|
You're lucky your Dad is willing to try with you. |

HIT THAT HORSE, HIT HIM HARD SON!!!
I think my biggest problem is that I am personalliy having trouble believing that I can do it. I've had a couple of lucid dreams so far, but they weren't vivid and didn't last very long and they were about a month and a half apart. I have trouble believing I can do it and it will be as vivid as you all say that it will be? What can I do to have more confidence in myself? |
|
just tell your dad that it IS possible |
|
I would love my dad to try it with me. |
|
My dad started to back off- I think I need to have a lucid dream first before he'll jump in with me. I'm going to try to CAT- it involves (for me at least) less effort than reality checking every 20 minutes. and it makes so much sense! |
