In bed last night I thought I would practice my WILD approach - not to get to a dream, but just to practice and experience nice relaxation in the moment before sleep.

I had reached a stage of deep, pleasant relaxation when suddenly a strange sensation swept my body: starting at my feet, the best way I can describe is, it was as though something was inflating my body with warm air. It crept up my body slowly from my feet right to my head and it felt like I'd become twice the size through inflation. It was very warm too - I don't know if my body really did increase its temperature that quickly, or if I was just perceiving it to be that way. I felt like my whole body - and particularly my face - was flushed.
