In bed last night I thought I would practice my WILD approach - not to get to a dream, but just to practice and experience nice relaxation in the moment before sleep. |

Well I would tend to get that when I attempt to WILD. I don't think it is actually SP, but it is probably a stage before it or something. I will keep my eye on this thread, because I am interested to know the actual answer. |

You could have been close to the begining phases of REM Atonia, but it sounds more like HH. Remember, a lot of people only think about images during HH, but thermal, and tactile changes are also common. |

It was quite amazing to observe - the way it stealthily climbed up my body, almost as if it had its own awareness. I would imagine that would scare the life out of someone who knew little about the effects of LD induction. |

!!! I just posted something about a technique you recommended. But I forgot to mention something you mentioned now. Besides the fast heart rate, I too felt like my face was flushed! I have fainted once (not related to lucid dreaming), and the feeling of my face becoming flushed felt exactly like I remember before fainting that one time. It really made me nervous. I don't know if my face really actually became flushed or if it was just a feeling, but it creeped me out. |
