When ever I become lucid my vision kind of goes black but I still see the dream and I feel like I'm awake and not really dreaming. sometimes this is followed by a false awakining is this normal? |

Hmm... I can't really say - I mean, I don't know much about LDing yet, but also who's to say what is typical for Lucid Dreams? |

Hmm... sounds to me like you still are having a strong connection with your actual body. I would suggest trying some stabilization techniques, such as rubbing your hands together, dream spinning, or doing some RCs. If you are able, try and engage in some dream activities as quickly as possible upon entering your LD. Also, refrain from thinking about your actual body, this can cause your dream to become unstable. |

Becoming lucid is making you wake up or dream that your are waking up (false awakening). Try getting used to do a reality check everytime you wake up so you can take advantage of those false awakenings and cut the pattern. |
