What's the best technique for me?

I realize that lucid dreaming is a practice, something that must be worked at. But I also believe that the many techniques that people have developed can be used alongside, or even "practiced" as arts of their own.

Regardless, what would probably be the best technique for me?

I get to sleep late. As in, 12:00

My sleep quality varies. I either sleep lightly, or heavily, depending on how tired I am. Generally, I would consider myself a light sleeper.

I have fairly decent dream recall when I try. My dreams are weird, and hard to forget.

I'm not easily influenced by external resources. A.K.A Binaural tones, hidden messages, etc.

Mnemonics never work for me. Never.

So, do I need to say more, or can anybody suggest by ideal technique?

I'm sure you have heard this before but everybody is different so what I suggest may not even work for you at all. With that said, Do you have to get up early? If not I would say WBTB after 5-7 hours of sleep then get lucid dreaming on the brain, maybe by visiting this site or reading in your dream journal. For me, I've been coupling that with MILD and it has worked great so far but since that doesn't work for you then you might want to couple that with a WILD and see how that goes. Good luck!

      Okay, thankyou! Sounds great.

      I'll probably try it.

If you fall asleep quickly, WILD. If not, then DILD.
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

      DILDs are nice and easy
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

You'd probably be more successful with DILD but you'll learn more that will help you later if you attempt WILDs.

Sounds like wild is the usual choice here. Thankyou! I'll review some tutorials.
