help determine the best way for me to LD

I need some help to find the type i really want to focus on.
Ok so a few things that are probably key, i have like a really hard time focusing and keeping my mind straight, it wanders off and does w/e when im not paying attention. I have troubles meditating. I have sleep troubles, i often cant sleep for at least 1 hour or more. ummm.. I have terrible memory with dreams, i always forget them about 1 hour after i wake up. Would it be possible for me to WILD? cause i can barely get my mind into a state where i could do this.
I was thinking that maybe just doing reality checks a whole lot and improving my dream recall would be best, what do you think?

Focus on the basics. You can't climb to the top of Everest if you get winded climbing a flight of stairs. First focus on your dream recall. Keep a DJ. You wake up ~ every hour? Is it related to the end of your dreams? Force yourself to write your dreams down, regardless of how exhausted you are when you wake up and how comfy the sheets feel. Just a few keywords will do it, and if you don't have the self-discipline for that, then I seriously doubt you will get very far in your WILDing pursuits. Use the DJ to boost recall, to find dreamsigns, and of course start reality checking. I recommend the link in my sig if you are open to learning to DILD. I consider it far easier than WILDing and better for beginners, but some people disagree.
